Surfing at Double Island Point is a must do for the die hard surfer
While at Double Island Point take a walk up to the lighthouse this is a superb place for spotting the whales, manta rays, dolphins , turtles and the numerous species of fish that abound in the waters around the rocky point
Miles and miles of beach to fish all year round, its just as much fun collecting the bait, either digging up the pipies from the sand or trying your hand at gathering the large sand worms, ideal bait for whiting
Enjoy a day catching and eating beautiful Noosa river mud crabs with Noosa River Fishing and Mud Crabbing Tours
Watch the whales from the beach as they head to Hervey Bay, also on their return
Beautiful blue water to swim, play and enjoy
For those more adventurous there is a hang gliding platform
Take a trail ride on horseback along the beach
Walking tracks take you to Lake Cootharaba or for spectaculars views take the track to Mt Seawah which has views over Teewah village and all the way to Noosa
A new walking track has been completed, with 90kms which takes you from North Shore to Rainbow Beach with camping spots along the way and beautiful scenery
Watch the breathtaking Sea Eagles soaring high over the sand dunes, if you are lucky, they may even come close enough trying to take your fish
The favorite pastime is relaxing on the beach with a nice cold drink

There are several markets in the area (not at Teewah) Eumundi, every Wednesday and Saturday, Noosa Harbour, every Sunday, Farmers market, Noosaville Sundays
The Great Sand Bar and Restaurant on the North Shore is now open, has meals and icy cold drinks plus live music on weekends
There is also a small store at the hotel that has a few supplies (bread, milk etc)
Many shopping centre’s in Noosaville, plus a selection of specialty shops also in Noosaville and Noosa
